We're back in business!!!
Our camera has been acting up this last month and I haven't been able to take many pictures, but we are back in business! Not only is Sam walking, but he is a talking machine! Of course, most of the words might sound the same to the untrained ear, but Mom and Dad are able to tell what he is talking about! He will point at a candle and say "hot" or point to the phone and say "hi". He said "Bye, Bye, da-da" yesterday and we were thrilled that he put two words together! It has only happened twice, but we still think he is pretty amazing!
Here are some pics of the little guy in action!

Oatmeal
Usually while I am making myself some breakfast I put Sam in his walker and let him explore. His latest obsession is the pantry. So many fun things to pull out and throw on the floor. I thought I had everything that couldn't be "destroyed" put up higher, but apparently I was wrong. Sam has gotten pretty good at opening containers with his teeth...as you can see in the pic below...he whipped the top of this off pretty darn fast! These are the highlights of my days!
Coaster Trouble
My mom has these coasters on the coffee table downstairs and for some reason Sam just can't take his eyes, hands, or mouth off of them. He sure is one determined fella when he has his mind on something. Anyway, when daddy was "watching" him the other night I came home to a little boy with red hands and a red face.
Needless to say, the coasters are gone! Oh well, it makes for a cute pic!

My Little Contortionist
Yep, he's asleep! We are working on sleeping without being held now...this can lead to moments of crying and this is what happens when sitting up crying finally wears him out! He sure is flexible! I really can't imagine him being comfortable, but you know what they say..."Never wake a sleeping baby!"

Big Cedar
Christmas
Sam loved his presents from Santa...of course he REALLY loved the wrapping paper and boxes almost as much as the toys inside!
We are so thankful for our precious Samuel this year on his first Christmas and are looking forward to so many more with this little guy!

I'd smile too if my uncle was making this face...
