Summer Time

Sam LOVES to be outside!!! Fits are thrown when it's time to come in...not a pretty sight! We have just loved our neighborhood and all the kids out when it's nice and Sam loves to have friends over so it's worked out great! I have learned that as a mom here I have to have my frig packed with Capri Suns and freezer pops if I want to be "cool".

It's Official...

Sam is going to be a big brother!!! We are due on December 23rd, 2008 and couldn't be more thrilled! The first trimester has flown by with just a few bumps in the road. We had our 2nd official doctor's appointment yesterday and I have actually lost some weight due to my "evening" sickness, but I am starting some nausea medicine that will hopefully cure it soon! And I am on strict orders to not workout out for a week and drink a milkshake everyday...pretty rough I know!
I clearly didn't have trouble gaining weight with Sam so I'm sure it's just a matter of time until I start packin' on the pounds!

Sick Baby

Our Memorial Day weekend really wasn't what we expected it to be...Sam came down with 103 temp. on Friday so we took him to the doctor and they said it was just viral. We thought after a few days he would be back to his old self, but he really just wasn't getting any better over the weekend. I ended up taking him back to the doctor on Monday and the poor guy had tonsillitis, double ear infection, and HUGE fever blister!
Today was actually the first day that I felt Sam was 85% himself. He was up to a few of his old tricks, but occasionally just wanted to lay down on the couch and watch a movie. Which for Sam to sit still longer than five minutes is NOT normal! We are praying that he is on the mend and really hope we are able to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!

(We also left our camera in Maryville so I won't be able to post any pictures until we get it back...)

Playin' at the Park

Well, we learned quickly that Sam in not a fan of slides or swings...yet! But he is a fan of eating woodchips and monkey bars. Guess you have to start somewhere!

First Haircut

This one was a hard one for me...Sam had such beautiful curls in the back and I just didn't want to cut them off! However, I really didn't want Sam to have a mullet and resent me oneday.

Luckily, his hair is still wavy and I now get the joy of "styling" it!
