More Golfing Pics

This is my favorite face Sam makes now.

So Sam knows that he can't go in the street. He has decided to compromise by standing at the end of the driveway and throw things in the street. He knows he's not supposed to do that. Here he is after committing the offense...

...and here he is fleeing the scene.

Peter Pan

I used to not be a fan of kids watching TV, but then I became pregnant and any chance for Sam to sit still longer than five minutes is worth paying for. In our case, the child LOVES Peter Pan. He would watch it all day long if I would let him. As tempting as that is, he will usually watch it once a day. Never in one sitting, but a random 10 or 15 minutes here and there really help Mom out when I want to get something done!
Here he is enjoying my laundry basket and watching some Peter Pan.

Dad's New Toy

Little did I know how lucky I would be to be married to Lance Armstrong one day. Well...he might not ride as well as Lance, but he sure looks like him!
Dad and Uncle Brian went out on Saturday and spent our life savings on their new favorite hobby.
Brace yourself Ladies, I realize it's hard to resist men in spandex...

Drumroll Please...

It's a.........BOY!!! Baby Akins was so healthy and active today during the sonogram. The doctor was having trouble getting measurements and pictures...so it's kinda lookin' like we are going to have a Sam Jr. on our hands.
We were planning on decorating the playroom, but I think since I'm going to have two boys we might just put padding on all the walls since Sam's favorite thing to do now is body slam EVERYTHING!!! Thanks Grammie for teaching him that! Of course, it's constantly encouraged by Dad too.
Here are some pics of the big brother's reaction...

"Hmmm, that part kinda looks familiar..."

"Oh my gosh, I'm going to have to share now!"

Pics of Sam

Sam has been battling a double ear infection this week...again. He seems to be doing much better and slept through the night until 7 this morning which was a huge blessing for mommy! We are hoping he takes a good nap today too!

Here are some fun pictures of Sam over the last couple of days.

Cowboy Up! As you can see he takes his dancing VERY seriously!!!
